On the 10th December 2008 EURONET will hold the launch event of its campaign to ban corporal punishment in the home: 'Stop Corporal Punishment'. The event will take place in the European Parliament, coinciding with Human Rights day. The event, which is supported by MEP Lissy Groner, will include guests speakers from the Council of Europe ( Elda Moreno), the Global Initiative to end all corporal punishment against children ( Peter Newell) as well children from the UK and Romania, voicing their opinions on corporal punishment.
